SCI-202 Dental Science (with Lab)
This course is a requirement designed for sophomore, junior, or senior pre-dental students. The course will involve meeting once per week for group instruction and guidance in completing a study of introductory dental anatomy, tooth morphology, and occlusion. The course will also have a creative, hands-on component in which the student will sculpt selected tooth structures from dental wax. At the end of the course, the student will submit a five-page report summarizing the information and skills learned and how the student will utilize them from a Christian perspective. Prerequisite: BIO-125.
