HRM-215 Introduction to Human Resources

This course explores the major concepts of the human resource function and HR's role as a strategic business partner. Emphasis is placed in the areas of staffing, training, and developing human potential, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and the legal framework for HR operations. Human resource concepts will be presented from a Christian worldview.

HRM-235 Project Management in Human Resources

Students will explain the essentials of supervision and human resource management business processes and describe the four stages of human resources project management. Students will apply effective project management practices in human resources projects. Students will apply supervisory management functions in developing human resources. Students will demonstrate team performance management techniques that lead to project success. Students will illustrate biblical principles and leadership concepts in the areas of human resources and project management.
