This course will strengthen students' ability to carry out graduate-level studies and research in the theological disciplines. Focus is placed on the development of methodological skills for the planning, development and finalization of a Master of Theological Studies thesis and familiarization with the range of resources, both written and digital for theological studies. This course will assist students in developing a proposal for thesis reseach in the Master of Theological Studies program. Prerequisite: Students need to fulfill all other requirements of the program before enrolling in research courses.
This course is the culmination of the Master of Theological Studies program. Students will write an original work of scholarship in one of the theological disciplines, approved by a faculty member advising the student. The thesis will demonstrate the ability of advanced research in the area of a student's particular disciplinary focus. Prerequisite: RSCH-610.

This course will introduce students to the purpose, methods, and skills of ministry research. It will give an overview of the DMin project and its processes.
The student will engage the process of formulating ministry research questions. Students will explore research questions related to their ministry setting.
In this course, students will evaluate various methods for ministry research. Students will formulate methodologies suited to specific ministry research problems and settings.
