Enrollment: With over 11,000 students, IWU is one of the largest schools in the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and among private institutions in the state of Indiana.

Diversity of Learning: IWU serves a diverse student population through traditional residential and adult-centered on-site and online academic programs.

Academic Units: On July 1, 2009, Indiana Wesleyan University instituted a new structure built around the following principal academic units:

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) serves undergraduate and graduate residential and commuter students on the home Marion campus as well as graduate online students via the Graduate Counseling program. CAS is comprised of five schools, which offer more than 70 majors in a traditional semester format. CAS also houses the John Wesley Honors College. Approximately 2,400 students are enrolled.

The College of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS) offers convenient adult-focused undergraduate and graduate programs at regional education centers throughout Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, and online. Programs are available in Addictions Counseling, Biblical Studies, Business, Communication, Computer Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Education, Human Services, Leadership,  Liberal Arts, Psychology, Public Administration, Social Work, and Ministry. CAPS enrolls over 6,000 students.

The School of Nursing (SON) offers bachelor's, master's, doctoral and post-graduate certificate programs. The School of Nursing currently enrolls over 1,500 students in the divisions of Pre-licensure, Post-licensure, Masters and Doctoral Nursing. Several delivery systems (residential/traditional, blended, and online) are utilized in The School of Nursing.

The School of Health Sciences: This principal academic unit at Indiana Wesleyan University offers graduate programs in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, a bachelor of science degree in Health Science, and an Occupational Therapy Assistant degree program. The school is devoted to teaching, scholarship, research, and clinical practice. These programs focus on educating students to become leaders in the respective areas of healthcare. With experienced faculty and leading curriculum, the school provides quality education, clinical care, and community engagement for underrepressented populations. The school enrolls approximately 150 students.

Wesley Seminary: With over 500 students enrolled in the Master of Divinity (in both English and Spanish), Master of Arts in Ministry, Master of Theological Studies, and Doctorate in Ministry, the first seminary belonging to The Wesleyan Church serves ministers from nearly 40 denominations in over 10 countries.

Rankings: IWU is consistently ranked in the top tier of Midwest Regional Universities in “Best Colleges” published by U.S. News and World Report. U.S. News and World Report also commonly reports IWU as an “A+ School for B Students” and a “Best Value School” and in 2011 listed IWU as an “Up-and-Comer” institution for having made “promising and innovative changes in the areas of academics, faculty, student life, campus, or facilities.”
