This course examines multiple, developmentally appropriate approaches to teaching and learning in elementary education. The candidates examine student-centered methods, flipped classrooms, cultural responsiveness, global awareness, unit planning, and technology in the context of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and differentiation. Access to elementary students required. Prerequisite: EDUT-210

This course examines various approaches to teaching and learning in secondary education. This course addresses differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), project-based learning, cultural competency, and global competency. Prerequisite: EDUT-211
