EDUT-205 Educational Psychology for Elementary Educators
This course examines a broad understanding of development and diversity. Candidates study major concepts, theories, and processes related to the cognitive, social, emotional, physical, behavioral, and moral development of elementary children. Candidates acquire knowledge of instructional strategies that are responsive to elementary students' differences, which promotes development and learning for all K-6 students. Additionally, candidates analyze characteristics of effective teachers. Prerequisite: EDUT-210
