MAT-282 Transition to Advanced Mathematics

A coure to develop students' ability in mathematical reasoning by applying logic and set concepts to problems in probability, functions and relations, number theory, and geometry. In addition, it is to increase background knowledge in these content areas in preparation for subsequent advanced courses. Intenstive practice in reading and writing mathematics and constructing mathematical proofs. Prerequisite: MAT-253; Prerequisite or corequisite: MAT-223.
