AVP-231 Aircraft Dispatcher Foundations
This course introduces the aeronautical knowledge required for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate. Topics include regulations, publications, airspace, aerodynamics, aircraft systems, meteorology theory, air traffic control, navigation systems, instrument flight procedures, and aviation safety. Successful completion is contingent upon passing the Aircraft Dispatcher Knowledge Test (ADX). Credit is granted for students who present a valid and current FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, or evidence of a passing score on the ADX Knowledge Exam.
