Residence Hall Suspension
A student may be suspended from a residence hall or apartment for a specified period of time when it has been determined that the student’s behavior in the residential community is too disruptive to maintain a positive living and learning environment. Residence Hall Suspension may also be issued when there is reasonable cause to believe that the continued presence of the resident in the residential community constitutes an immediate threat to the emotional or physical health, safety or welfare of the resident, other residents or staff, and/or to university property. In such cases, the student will be required to leave the residence hall or apartment immediately and must remain away from the residence hall or apartment until the specified period has ended and a re-enrollment interview has been conducted by appropriate university personnel.
