Notification to Parents/Guardians
Students will be encouraged at all levels of the Student Conduct Process to share information with their parents. The University may notify parents of a student who has violated any laws or policy governing the use or possession of alcohol or a controlled substance, or who has been suspended, dismissed, or expelled from the college if the student is under the age of 21 at the time of disclosure. In cases involving serious injury and in situations deemed by the university to be an emergency, the college may notify the parents or guardian of a student.
