Disciplinary Probation

A status into which a student is placed when the student is in jeopardy of suspension or dismissal from the University. Disciplinary Probation may result in temporary or permanent exclusion or removal from student leadership positions, campus employment, or other campus activities (athletics, chorale, worship band, etc.). A student may be placed on a predetermined number of probation days, typically ranging from 30, 60, or 90 days, or a semester. A permanent record is kept in the student's file.
