Spiritual Care - M.A.

The MA in Spiritual care prepares students to serve in pastoral and helping professions.  Students choose from three specializations: Pastoral Counseling, with which students can transition to a Master of Arts in Counseling, Congregational Formation, which prepares students for pastoral ministry in a local church, or Human Services, with which students can transition to a Master of Social Work.  The degree can be completed in 10-12 months.

Entry Requirements

  • Required Undergraduate GPA: 2.75
  • Graduate of an Undergraduate Ministerial Program.

Required ministerial competencies:

  • Bible (6 hours of undergraduate coursework)
  • Theology and Philosophy (6 hours of undergraduate coursework)

Congregational Care Specialization
