Liturgical Studies - B.S.
Purpose
The Liturgical Studies major is designed to prepare women and men for service in the local church, with a focus on the theology and practice of leading Christian worship. Students will be prepared for roles such as worship pastor, lead pastor, or associate pastor. The major includes the School of Theology and Ministry ministerial core and can be combined with the Pastoral Ministries second major to meet ordination requirements in the Wesleyan Church and meet advanced standing requirements for ministerial master’s programs.
