Master of Practical Theology - MPTh
The MPTh is an MDiv-equivalent degree. It is an accelerated degree built on admitted students having earned advanced standing through completion of required undergraduate courses in the School of Theology and Ministry. The first year of the program is completed on site, then the second year is completed online while serving in a local church.
Entry Requirements
Required Undergraduate GPA: 3.0 in coursework required for majors in the School of Theology and Ministry
Graduate of an Undergraduate Ministerial Program or permission of the Dean of Theology and Ministry.
Required ministerial competencies:
- Bible (6 hours of undergraduate coursework)
- Theology and Philosophy (6 hours of undergraduate coursework)
