Pastoral Counseling and Care - B.S.
The Pastoral Counseling and Care major is designed to prepare women and men for service in local church, parachurch, or community service organizations. Students will be prepared for pastoral care and spiritual formation ministerial roles, chaplaincy, and other caring professions. The major includes the School of Theology and Ministry ministerial core and can be combined with the Pastoral Ministries second major to meet ordination requirements in the Wesleyan Church and meet advanced standing requirements for ministerial master’s programs. This degree can also be combined with coursework in psychology or social work prepare students for graduate programs in clinical counseling or social work.
