BS - Management
The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Management emphasizes skill development in organizational management. This includes analysis and problem-solving, application of global perspectives to strategic decision-making, identification of appropriate methods of communication, application of relevant technologies including artificial intelligence, development of entrepreneurial skills, and creation of ethical solutions using critical thinking for changing organizational conditions. All skills and applications are examined within a biblical framework.
The Bachelor of Science with a major in Management is designed for practicing professionals. Students participating in this program desire additional study to expand and enhance their ability to contribute to their career path, company, and society. This program allows students to be engaged in working in a paid or non-paid position, (provided this employment is appropriate for a training opportunity, considering the goals and requirements of the degree program), which may include current employment in a full- or part-time professional position, participation in job shadowing, or participation in an internship. Additionally, the program provides a foundation for future employment to extend the academic experience with practical training as noted above.
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

A minor in Management is available to a bachelor degree seeking student in the College of Adult and Professional Studies.
The curriculum will be completed in the order established by Indiana Wesleyan University. Indiana Wesleyan University reserves the right to modify the curriculum as necessary.
Admission Requirements
The admission requirements for Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Management offered through the College of Adult and Professional Studies are as follows:
- Proof of high school graduation or GED certification.
- Original transcripts from all previous college or university study at a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
Transfer Credit Policy
Transfer credit for core curriculum requirements for undergraduate programs within the DeVoe School of Business, Technology, & Leadership may be granted as follows:
- Credit must have been earned at a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) with a minimum grade of "C".
- Courses must be approved by the DeVoe School of Business, Technology, & Leadership.
- Students must complete at least 30 hours of the core curriculum at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate with a baccalaureate degree with a major in Management from the College of Adult and Professional Studies at Indiana Wesleyan University, the following requirements must be met:
- Completion of 120 semester hours.
- Completion of the required core courses with a GPA of 2.25 or higher.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Completion of 30 hours of general education requirements as specified (General Education Requirements).
- Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive a diploma.
