FINC-527 Estate Planning and Wealth Transfer
This course focuses on the components of estate planning which include property titling mechanisms, tax implications, types of trusts, wealth transfer strategies, and postmortem estate planning techniques. Additional topics include gift and estate tax compliance and tax calculation, sources of estate liquidity, and the types, features, and taxation of trusts. This course also examines economic concepts and the impact of business and consumer protection law, along with financial institutions and services. Throughout the course, the student will develop a comprehensive, biblical perspective of estate planning.
