FINC-523 Income Tax Planning

This course examines the income tax system for individuals, trusts, estates, and business entities. Students will study income tax law fundamentals and calculations, tax compliance, basis, income taxation of trusts and estates, Alternate Minimum Tax, tax reduction management techniques, passive activity, at-risk rules, tax implications of special circumstances, and charitable contributions. Students will also study the CFP Board Code of Ethics. Throughout this course, students interpret taxes using biblical principles.
