REL-539 History and Contemporary Practices Of the Global Church

This course introduces the student to the key events, individuals, and debates of global Christian history from the time of Jesus to the present day. Special attention is given to the worldwide church, as well as the development of Christian doctrines and practices in specific contexts, with consideration of implications for contemporary contextualized ministry.
