MPH-510 Social and Behavioral Aspects of Health
This course focuses on the social and behavioral sciences that are essential for understanding health behaviors and for developing effective health promotion interventions. Students will learn about the social, behavioral, and cultural determinants of health to design, implement, and evaluate health behavior change interventions. This course provides an overview of the key theories and models used to predict behavioral health and individual health-related decision making. The models of behavior changes and social network theories are also discussed. Prerequisites: MPH-540
