EDUT-532 Reading and Writing in Emergent Literacy
This course focuses on building background knowledge of developmentally appropriate of emergent instructional practices and skills for young children using scientifically-based reading research (SBRR). A developmental continuum will guide candidates' understanding of typically literacy development and provide a backdrop for identifying how to differentiate their instruction and assessment using a variety of methods and tools to meet the needs of individual P-3 learners. Prerequisite: EDUT-522
