EDUT-514 Foundations of Early Childhood Development and Learning Environments

The focus of this course is to provide an overview of the theoretical foundations of Early Childhood Education and to introduce the role of philosophies in decision-making processes. Emphases on child development and Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) are accompanied by exploration of elements related to quality learning environment. Supervised field experiences are required. Prerequisite: EDUT-504
