MS - Artificial Intelligence - Education Specialization

The Master of Science with a major in Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and a specialization in Education program is designed for practicing professionals who possess a bachelor’s or graduate degree. Students participating in this program desire to expand and enhance their ability to contribute technology expertise to enhance their career path, company, and society. This program allows students to be engaged in working in a paid or non-paid position, (provided this employment is appropriate for a training opportunity, considering the goals and requirements of the degree program), which may include current employment in a full- or part-time professional position, participation in job shadowing, or participation in an internship. Additionally, the program provides a foundation for future employment to extend the academic experience with practical training as noted above.

This program addresses the fundamentals of machine learning and their application to artificial intelligence in an educational context. It provides a cross-disciplinary perspective on how emerging technology is transforming the workplace, equipping students to navigate these powerful trends using a biblical framework. Students will apply technical and management expertise to evaluate the evolving educational environment, identify high-impact artificial intelligence use cases, and lead implementation of new technologies.

  • Apply the fundamental concepts and methods of artificial intelligence.
  • Analyze the impact of new artificial intelligence solutions.
  • Create responsible artificial intelligence implementation plans.
  • Create analytic solutions relevant for data-driven decisions.
  • Apply ethical and biblical principles to decisions regarding the appropriate uses of artificial intelligence.
  • Design a classroom curriculum which incorporates digital fluency.
  • Demonstrate use of advanced analytic tools for assessing educational activities.
