BS - Marketing - Marketing Analytics Specialization
Students in the Bachelor of Science with a major in Marketing and a specialization in Marketing Analytics program will develop business analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they relate to marketing. Applications of global marketing perspectives to critical business decisions will be explored. In our rapidly changing business environment, the student will identify appropriate marketing communication methods to reach diverse audiences. Students will apply data analytics to gauge the performance and impact of marketing strategies. The use of ethical solutions within a biblical framework to successfully implement business marketing opportunities will be addressed throughout the program.
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Develop business analysis and problem solving-skills as they relate to marketing.
- Apply global marketing perspectives to critical business decisions.
- Identify appropriate marketing communication methods to reach diverse audiences in business environments.
- Apply relevant marketing technologies to manage changing business conditions.
- Develop ethical solutions for business marketing opportunities using critical thinking.
- Integrate a biblical framework that guides interaction within the marketing environment.
- Apply data analytics to gauge the performance and impact of marketing strategies.
The curriculum will be completed in the order established by Indiana Wesleyan University. Indiana Wesleyan University reserves the right to modify the curriculum or locations offered as necessary.
Admission Requirements
The admission requirements for Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Marketing offered through the College of Adult and Professional Studies are as follows:
- Proof of high school graduation or GED certification.
- Original transcripts from all previous college or university study at a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Prior completion of at least 60 transferable credit hours is required before the student is eligible to start a bachelor core program.
Transfer Credit Policy
Transfer credit for core curriculum requirements for undergraduate programs within the DeVoe School of Business may be granted as follows:
- Credit must have been earned at a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) with a minimum grade of "C".
- Courses must be approved by the DeVoe School of Business.
- Students must complete at least 30 hours of the core curriculum at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Marketing from the College of Adult and Professional Studies at Indiana Wesleyan University, the following requirements must be met:
- Completion of 120 semester hours.
- Completion of the required core courses with a GPA of 2.25 or higher.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Completion of 30 hours of general education requirements as specified (General Education Requirements).
- Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive a diploma.
