MAT-116 Contemporary College Algebra

This conceptually-driven course will enable students to use mathematical language and models to describe real world mathematical relationships. Students will become familiar with linear and quadratic functions, graphs of functions, polynomial functions, rational and exponential functions, and systems of equations and inequalities. Students will become competent with technical tools used to visualize algebraic relationships. (Students must receive a C or higher in MAT-109 to take this course).
