Specialization in Pastoral Care

Graduates of this program should be able to apply a core set of skills in pastoral care in order to participate effectively in God’s advancing mission in the world.

In addition to the Master of Divinity learning outcomes, students with a specialization in Pastoral Care should, with graduate-level competency, be able to:

  • Embody basic competencies and skills in the theory and practice of pastoral care.
  • Integrate theological reflection with the ministry of pastoral care.
