Spiritual Care - M.A.

Entry Requirements

Required Undergraduate GPA: 2.75
Required ministerial competencies in the four areas of study listed below:

  • Bible
  • Theology and Philosophy
  • Discipleship Ministries
  • Pastoral Counseling and Care

Students are required to satisfy all four competencies in the MA Spiritual Care program. Competencies are satisfied by completing the designated undergraduate course(s) with a grade of C or higher - see chart below. Competencies not satisfied by undergraduate courses may be fulfilled by taking the designated graduate class. Students may not choose the graduate pathway to fulfill the competency requirements in more than two disciplines.

*Pastoral Counseling recommendation:
Six semester hours in undergraduate psychology of which three semester hours must be in Abnormal Psychology.
