Professional Coaching
Mission Statement: The Certificate in Professional Coaching is designed to equip students with positive psychology theory, skills and techniques in order to integrate individual and group coaching methods into their chosen professions. The certificate includes a well-rounded education with classes in helping skills, professional coaching ethics, coaching foundations and theory, coaching and self-development, coaching and systems (team, group, and couples coaching), and experiential coaching methods. Students may also take optional externships to gain face-to-face coaching training (towards certification at the national/international level).
