Graduate Certificate - AI Business Innovation

The AI Business Innovation Graduate Certificate program prepares graduates for careers in executive management, technology leadership, and organizational development. In addition, individuals will be equipped for roles in information technology, change management, and business consulting. Skills needed to leverage artificial intelligence, achieve operational excellence, and strategically plan for business growth will be addressed. Participants will explore AI-accelerated business and innovation, mastering how AI transforms decision-making, efficiency, and competitive advantage. The program emphasizes the need to drive continuous improvement and innovation in dynamic markets. Participants will develop expertise in leading with innovation and influence, fostering a forward-thinking mindset and inspiring organizational change. Mastering AI prompting, empowering participants to optimize AI tools for enhanced productivity, and decision-making will be a focus in the program.  

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

• Apply AI-driving strategies to enhance decision-making, efficiency, and competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
• Implement innovative processes and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize business performance and adaptability.
• Develop leadership strategies that foster creativity, inspire change, and drive forward-thinking solutions.
• Utilize advanced AI prompting techniques to improve workflow automation, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.

Admission Requirements

The admission requirements for the Certificate are as follows: 

• A baccalaureate or graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) verified on original transcripts sent by the institution directly to Indiana Wesleyan University.
• An undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher from the baccalaureate degree granting institution at which at least a minimum of 30 hours was completed. If an applicant's GPA is below 2.5, the student may be admitted on a probationary basis, as established by the guidelines of the DeVoe School of Business, Technology, & Leadership.

Completion Requirements

• All credits required in the curriculum sequence with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum grade of “C” in each course. A grade of "C-" or below will require the course to be repeated.

• Overall GPA of 3.0 in all IWU graduate work.
• Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive a certificate.
