Undergraduate Certificate - Cyber Analyst
The Cyber Analyst Certificate is designed to deliver training that prepares students for a cyber analyst role. The student will be engaged in and exposed to a series of highly-relevant online labs to evaluate features, systems and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the security of systems. Courses in the certificate program are designed to prepare learners for success on the Security+ and CySA+, Network+, and Security+ Certification exams.
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Explain the concepts of computer networking fundamentals as they relate to the cybersecurity domain.
- Apply best practices in cybersecurity frameworks.
- Utilize best practices in vulnerability assessment to secure a technology environment.
- Apply biblical wisdom and Christian ethics to the field of cybersecurity.
- Evaluate technical requirements for system security solutions by applying appropriate information technology frameworks.
- Employ various technologies to network system administration.
Admissions Requirements
- Accepted as a regular degree seeking student or as an unclassified student.
- Unclassified student requires proof of high school graduation.
Graduation Requirements
- 18 credit hours from the courses specified in the certificate program.
- Minimum grade of “C” in each course.
- Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive certificate.
