Master of Practical Theology - MPTh

Entry Requirements

Required Undergraduate GPA: 2.75
Ministerial competencies in the nine areas of study listed below:

     - Bible
     - Theology and Philosophy
     - Discipleship Ministries
     - Christian Education
     - Contextualized Ministry
     - Christian Worship
     - Pastoral Care and Counseling
     - Homiletics
     - Church Leadership

Students are required to satisfy all nine competencies in the MPTh Christian Ministries program. Competencies are satisfied by completing the designated undergraduate course(s) with a grade of C or higher - see chart below. Competencies not satisfied by undergraduate courses may be fulfilled by taking the designated graduate class. Students may not choose the graduate pathway to fulfill the competency requirements in more than two disciplines.
