This course explores the introductory concepts of managing human resources in business. The nature of work, human efficiency and performance, leadership within work groups, and managerial problem solving will be examined. Various roles and functions of managers will be explored. Management and leadership concepts will be presented from a Christian worldview.
Students will explain the essentials of supervision and human resource management business processes and describe the four stages of human resources project management. Students will apply effective project management practices in human resources projects. Students will apply supervisory management functions in developing human resources. Students will demonstrate team performance management techniques that lead to project success. Students will illustrate biblical principles and leadership concepts in the areas of human resources and project management.
