AS - Integrative Studies - Criminal Justice

The Associate of Science degree with a major in Integrative Studies is a customizable degree providing adult students the freedom to create their own path of study based on career goals, unique passions, and life calling. The program is designed to develop students’ abilities to integrate learning across courses, over time, and between academic and life experiences.

The curriculum consists of 60 credits, including both general education requirements and a concentration in one academic area or a self-designed, customized combination of coursework.

The program begins with an introduction to integrative learning and liberal arts, in which students will explore their plan of study. It concludes with a capstone experience, in which students are able to reflect upon and communicate their integrative learning from a Christian worldview.

The Integrative Studies major may not be taken as an additional major and is not available for students who are completing other IWU Associate degree programs.

Students graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University with an Associate of Science degree with a major in Integrative Studies should be able to:

  • Illustrate connections between life experiences and fields of study.
