Pastoral Counseling and Care - B.S.
The Pastoral Counseling and Care program increases student awareness of human need and potential means of care in the context of the local church and/or chaplaincy programs. Pastoral counseling and care theories and practices are introduced and engaged, along with biblical, theological, and professional frameworks for ministry. Students who complete the program will be prepared to enter pastoral ministry and will be equipped to pursue graduate degrees in related fields. This major is not a pre-licensure program. Students who plan to seek ordination in The Wesleyan Church or who plan to enroll in the MPTh must double major in Pastoral Ministries.
