Christian Education - B.S
Purpose
The Christian Education major consists of a program of 44 credit hours designed to prepare a student to serve in a church staff position such as a director of Christian education, director of children's ministry, or director of adult ministries. The Christian Education major also prepares students to serve in para-church organizations (such as Youth for Christ or Young Life) or in Christian camps, church-related child-care ministries, etc. Students who plan to seek ordination in The Wesleyan Church or who plan to enroll in the MPTh must double major in Pastoral Ministries.
