MA - Organizational Leadership
The Master of Arts degree with a major in Organizational Leadership will provide graduates with the fundamental knowledge of leadership theory and skills to practice leadership in organizations. The program is targeted at students from all organizations, including business, nonprofit organizations, government, military, and ministries.
Upon completion of the program students should be able to:
- Synthesize historical and contemporary leadership theories to guide the effective practice of organizational leadership.
- Synthesize the foundational concepts of authenticity, wisdom, followership, stewardship, and faith integration as part of a character-based and ethical practice of organizational leadership.
- Analyze the sources and consequences of organizational problems, as well as appropriate interventions, to help the organization achieve its goals.
- Evaluate the change and learning needs of an organization to implement a strategic plan and redirect an organization toward its goals.
- Evaluate the competencies required of leaders to lead effectively in the contemporary multicultural and global contexts.
