2019-2020 Catalog

Physical and Health Education (5-12, P-12 Certification)

The Physical and Health Education major at Indiana Wesleyan University is designed to prepare students to influence the lives of children and adolescents in the pre-K – 12 grade educational environments. While the psychomotor domain represents the primary focus, its relationship with the cognitive, affective, and spiritual domains are emphasized, as well. This is accomplished through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experiences.

Please see School of Teacher Education-Teacher Education Program for admission criteria.
