Chemistry - A.B.
The Bachelor of Arts A.B. degree is designed for those science majors who plan to pursue science-related careers in medicine or an entry-level position in industry. This degree requires 45 hours of coursework, which is met by taking 26 hours in chemistry and 19 hours in required cognate courses.
Standards Required to Enter the Gateway Courses:
CHE-125 is the first course taken in the major. The standards required to take this course are completion of CHE-110 with a grade of "C" or better OR one year of high school chemistry and one of the following acceptable scores: Math SAT (480 or above) or RSAT (510 or above); or ACT (21 or above).
