This course presents concepts and analytical techniques that are found to be useful in understanding the management of operations. Students will learn how to apply ethical concepts and knowledge that will enhance product quality, safely increase productivity, improve human relations, manage supply chains, effectively reduce costs, and improve flexibility that will meet rapidly changing stakeholder needs. Students will learn to solve problems and issues confronted in the operational environment. Language, concepts, insights, and tools targeting competitive advantage through a sustainable operational business model will be presented. Integration of a biblical worldview within the context of operations management will be discussed.
