GEO-202 Political and Cultural Geography
This course provides an introductory survey of contemporary world affairs from a geographical perspective. Students will learn about some of the major economic, political, and cultural forces and processes at work and examine their roles in shaping the lives of the people in different regions and countries of the world. The course meets General Education Intercultural Experience requirement but does not meet General Education Social Science requirement. Gives credit for geography for majors in Political Science. This course meets IDoE Geographical-Perspectives Standards' requirements and required standards from the National Council for Social Studies.
