EDUT-560 Content Literacy Instruction for Secondary Education

This course examines strategic literary instruction for secondary learners. The course prepares teachers to develop independent metacognitive readers in their content area. Includes exploration of scientifically based reading research (SBRR) strategies, theories, and processes. Field experiences are required. Prerequisite: EDUT-575
