Student Conduct Philosophy
As part of Student Development, the Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards aspires to cultivate a culture of restoration by creating an educational space for meaningful discussion and reflection. We desire for our students to be in the most advantageous situation to thrive during their college experience. We believe a student's growth journey is a vital part to their success at IWU. To those ends, the Office of Student Conduct will help guide students to act with character and integrity in all areas.
Throughout our accountability process, the Office of Student Conduct seeks to provide opportunities for students to discuss their goals (relationally, educationally, professionally, and spiritually), explore how their values impact their actions, and examine how their decisions affect both themselves and others. A specific set of standards and policies have been developed to help assure that the University fulfills its mission through education, nurturing personal growth, and maintaining a campus-wide atmosphere conducive to learning and academic excellence.
