CYB-201 Networking Fundamentals

This course provides an in-depth exploration of networking fundamentals, preparing students for the CompTIA Network+ certification exam. Students will gain foundational knowledge in network architecture, operations, and security, with a focus on real-world applications in modern IT environments. Key topics include networking protocols, IP addressing, routing and switching, network troubleshooting, wireless and wired technologies, and essential network security practices. Through hands-on labs and simulations, students will effectively manage and troubleshoot network infrastructures while applying ethical best practices.

CYB-202 Cybersecurity Fundamentals

This course introduces essential cybersecurity principles, preparing students for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. Students will gain an understanding of core security concepts, including risk management, threat analysis, cryptography, and network security, with a focus on practical, hands-on skills. Topics covered include identifying and mitigating security threats, securing network communications, managing identity and access, and implementing organizational security policies. Through interactive labs and real-world scenarios, students will be equipped to protect and respond to cybersecurity incidents while applying Biblical and ethical principles. Prerequisite: CYB-201
