CIE-310 Transportation Engineering

This course introduces students to the study of primary modes of transportation. Main emphasis is on planning, design, and operation of roadways, including traffic flow theory, highway capacity, traffic control, geometry, drainage, and design of pavements. Prerequisite or corequisite: CIE-210.

CIE-330 Reinforced Concrete Design

This course introduces students to strength analysis and design of reinforced concrete members as well as their relationship to current code provisions. Prerequisite: CIE-220.

CIE-396 Special Topics in Civil Engineering

A course in topics of current interest in civil engineering. Specific content varies term by term but will be announced before registration begins for the semester of offering. Prerequisite: Permission of the division chair.
