CDV-229 Non-profit Administration
This course is an introduction to the theory and practice of effective management of nonprofit organizations, with a heavy emphasis on practical application and faithbased nonprofit organizations. Shadowing a nonprofit in the local community alongside real world examples will be used to ensure that the academic lessons translate to the nonprofit experience. As a survey course, a variety of topics will be covered including nonprofit management, leadership, governance, evaluation, and accountability. Teamwork will be a central focus of this course.
