MIN-545 Dimensions of Spirituality

In recent years, evangelicals have discovered various modes and disciplines of spirituality which originated outside the Protestant tradition. This course explores several "new" dimensions of spiritual life such as meditation, journaling, and fasting in the light of Biblical, philosophical, and practical concerns. The role of personal experience and reason in one's spiritual journey will be assessed. Special attention will be given to the unique challenges of developing the pastor's spiritual life.
