CDV-229 Community Development Management

This course explores management issues related to community development corporations. Topics of consideration will include differentiating between religious, public, and mutual benefit non-profit corporations; the required legal framework and organizational governance for non-profit enterprises; issues related to strategic planning, finance, fundraising, and entrepreneurship; and human resource development. Consideration will also be given to the relationship between Christian community development corporations, and the Church and its mission.
