BS - Integrative Studies - Business

The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Integrative Studies is a customizable degree providing adult students the freedom to create their own path of study based on career goals, unique passions, and life calling. The program is designed to develop students’ abilities to integrate learning across courses, over time, and between academic and life experiences.

The curriculum consists of 120 credits, including both general education requirements and a concentration in one academic area or a self-designed, customized combination of coursework. The program begins with an introduction to integrative learning and liberal arts, in which students will explore their plan of study. It concludes with a capstone experience, in which students are able to reflect upon and communicate their integrative learning in relation to a Christian worldview.

The Integrative Studies major may not be taken as an additional major or degree. This major is not available for students who have completed other IWU Bachelor programs.

Students graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Integrative Studies should be able to:
  • Explain connections between life experiences and fields of study.
  • Synthesize examples, facts, or theories from more than one field of study or perspective.
  • Solve problems by applying acquired skills and knowledge to new situations.
