Definitions of Sanctions and Assignments

It is important for students to be given consistent and fair responses to misconduct yet also be deal with in an individual manner. A student may receive more than the minimum consequences for a pattern of repeated misconduct, for a sever violation, for violation of probation, for not being truthful in the discipline process, for multiple violations at the same time, or for failing to comply with or being blatantly disrespectful toward university personnel. Below is a list of Sanctions and Assignments that may be applied in the event of a policy violation. this list is not exhaustive, other sanctions or assignments may be used at the discretion of the University official(s).
