Campus Police

The overall goal of the Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) Campus Police Department is to provide a safe and secure campus for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors. IWU Campus Police Officers are part time, providing 24 hour coverage, 365 days a year. All Campus Police Officers are certified through the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) with full arrest authority. The officers all work full time with the Grant County Sheriff's Office. All IWU Campus Police Officers undergo continual training through the Sheriff's Office in accordance with ILEA standards.

It is the mission of the Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) Camps Police Department to provide and safe and secure learning environment for the University community. Campus Police personnel work together with the University community to enhance the quality of life by providing proactive policing aimed at maintaining human rights, protecting property, and promoting individual responsibility that is Christ-centered and encourages teamwork, problem solving, fair and impartial costumer service, and consistency.
